Hutt Valley Gymnastics Club is excited to welcome applications for our newly created Administration Manager role. As the Administration Manager, you will be responsible for running the Administration side of the Club working closely with the Programme Manager and elected Committee.
What We Are Looking For?
An enthusiastic, positive person with strong administration and reporting experience. Good people management skills are essential, as you will be working closely with our office team, programme manager, committee, volunteers and members to create a positive, inclusive environment, where our gymnasts and coaches will thrive. You will build and keep close ties with Gymnastics New Zealand and its Regional Relationship Manager, and other gymnastics clubs in the wider Wellington Region.
Relocating Our Club
As we fundraise and plan the build of a new and bigger home for our club, you will be instrumental in the set up and move to a new facility, supporting our premises and funding teams.
As Administration Manager, you will be guided by the goals and objectives set out in the Strategic Plan 2020-2024, and will report directly to the Hutt Valley Gymnastics Committee.
What Can you Offer?
The ideal candidate for this role would have:
- Experienced in staff management and leadership
- A willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Superior communication skills
- Well developed IT and digital literacy skills
- Sport experience; desired but not essential
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships within our wider community and sporting network
This role is a part-time role of 20 hours per week, with the potential to grow and develop.
