We are looking for a BAS intermediate accountant to join our team.


The Role

As a BAS Accountant you will engage with clients to ascertain their needs, ensure their compliance requirements for the IRD are met and help them to improve their financial position through targeted advice.

You will be preparing annual financial statements for tax purposes as well as relevant tax returns such as income tax, PAYE, GST, FBT etc for a wide range of clients giving you excellent exposure to a range of situations.

To be successful in this role you will be an accountant with extensive experience in New Zealand Practice environment. With exceptional communication skills and excellent organisational skills, you will be able to manage your own workflow. You will have a customer centric attitude and be a fun-loving, sociable person with a personable, friendly demeanour.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven minimum of 1 years BAS experience in NZCA firm
  • Strong Xero experience (Essential)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good eye for detail and accuracy
